Interlude
Had a great conversation with my GP this afternoon. He's the living embodiment of the descriptor "wise old sage" and is not only a great physician, but a trusted source of advice. He's also never short of his own unique brand of wisdom. So from the man who likened anxiety to a duck, ie. "floating calmly on the surface but the feet are paddling like crazy under the water", here's another gem (those of us who are prone to feeling guilty for no good reason, take heed!) ...
"Look after yourself ... no other bastard will."
