Quack!

I got caught in the rain on the way home this afternoon, but fortunately there are some perks to the wet weather. For a little while, there have been a small tribe of ducks that appear after the rain, at the end of our street. And today we were lucky enough to get a sighting - full credit to them for remaining completely unfazed by the silly person running around after them trying to get some photos.

Much more fun than the toilet duck. I enjoy watching ducks dabble their beaks in water, and their ponderous waddle! Very cute. Have you named them yet? With some bread in hand you may be able to befriend them.

ducks are indeed great...and generally i've found them to be pretty friendly critters. haven't named these little guys yet, but will definitely try the bread trick - it's pretty wild outside right now but once it calms down they might get lured out!

Very cute little ducks! We had some came around every year and no kidding they tapped their beaks on the glass door and we'd feed them. Bread is the way to go...

ooh i love duckies! you certainly captured them in their element. here on campus there's a huge duck contigency that waddle from one place to another and as cute as they seem flygirl warned me that around springtime these cute duckies start bearing teeth (you read right teeth!) and giving chase to anyone who dares approach them and their brood!
