At Night
Sometimes we get so caught up with what's going on in our own little bubble, it's easy to forget how small and inconspicuous we actually are in the scheme of things. We stop taking the time to marvel and appreciate some pretty basic things that are actually very beautiful. Like the truth in the X-Files, that beauty is out there, we just need to stop long enough to see it.

Sweet photo- glad you got a chance to see the supermoon! It's like they're describing a superhero of sorts!
There's this great quote from a Mr. Waits, I knwo I'll get wrong but it goes something like: "the moon looks like some giant punched a hole in the sky"

if Mr Waits is right, that giant knows how to punch a perfectly rounded hole! i was pretty insistent on trying to take the photo with the flash off, so this is probably one of only two photos that worked. since i was trying to expose for a bit longer and stay still, all the other pics have multiple moons!!
